Presentations
- Bethel Park Master Plan Review and Acceptance
Bethel Park, a small neighborhood park situated off Seville Drive, is entering the initial stages of significant investment from the Village. The Bellevue Village Board will be reviewing the park’s master plan with the intention of adopting it. Once the plan is adopted, the staff can promote the park for future renovations and seek grant opportunities.
New Business
- Update of Village of Bellevue Year-End Closeout Policy
Financial Policy No. 02-2011 outlines the Village's procedures to close out its financial records and billings at the end of each year. This policy is now thirteen years old and needs a significant update. Proposed updates include revised language, new payment alternatives, and improvements in record-keeping. This policy is intended for internal use only and guides staff on proper financial practices. - Authorization to Submit Formal Rate Case Application to Wisconsin Public Service Commission; Resolution No. V-03-2025
In 2024, the Village Board authorized a contract with the outside partner Kerber Rose to update the Water and Sewer Utility billing rates. The Village is obligated to maintain revenues at a level that supports the utility's current and long-term needs. As part of the official Water Utility rate submission, the Village Board must complete an application with direct authorization and a resolution. Resolution No. V-03-2025 fulfills this requirement. Once the application is completed and reviewed by the Wisconsin Public Service Commission, the Village Board will be responsible for a final review and the adoption of the future Water Utility billing rates, which is anticipated to occur in July 2025. - Authorizing 20% Contribution for Partnering with Brown County On Safe Streets and Roads For All Grant
Brown County has applied for and received a grant to understand and address the need for safe streets and corridors in the county. The Safe Streets and Roads for All program includes local community support. The county has asked Bellevue to contribute a portion of the local match for this $200,000 grant, funded at an 80:20 ratio. The Bellevue Village Board will decide whether to support a small portion of the local match. - Approve Purchase of Furniture For Bellevue Administration Addition with ACI; BG-03; ($323,207.57)
The Bellevue Village Hall expansion project will discuss its third and final major contract during the meeting on January 22nd. Bellevue aims to collaborate with ACI to purchase and install essential office equipment and furniture for the new addition. The expected delivery and installation are scheduled for June.
