The Village of Bellevue does allow hunting within the
village limits.
The Village Board recently
adopted an update to the map which reflects a more accurate representation of
the Hunting District based on current regulations.
If you plan to hunt in the Village, we strongly encourage
you to take responsibility by reviewing our Approved Hunting Overlay Map and
the regulations in our Municipal Code. This will help ensure you are fully
informed about the safe and legal use of weapons in the Village.
Residents and hunters should familiarize themselves with the
three (3) hunting districts and the types of weapons allowed in Bellevue.
Understanding these regulations will enhance your knowledge of local hunting
rules and contribute to a safer hunting environment.
The regulations regarding weapons discharge can be found in the Village of Bellevue Municipal Code, Chapter 341: Peace and Good Order, Section 2: Weapons and Firearms Discharge.
