The housing rehabilitation loan program offers:

- 0% deferred payment housing rehabilitation loans to low and moderate income home-owners.
- 0% deferred and/or installment housing rehabilitation loans to owners of renter-occupied units.
Eligible projects include necessary repairs to electrical or plumbing systems, roof replacement, lead paint/asbestos abatement, and other rehabilitation deemed necessary to meet housing needs.
The program also offers assistance for:
- Accessibility improvements for low and moderate income households.
- Down-payment and eligible closing cost.
To be eligible, you must meet maximum household income requirements. For 2019 in Brown County, these are:
- 1 person household: cannot exceed $45,850
- 2 person household: cannot exceed $52,400
- 3 person household: cannot exceed $58,950
- 4 person household: cannot exceed $65,450
- 5 person household: cannot exceed $70,700
- 6 person household: cannot exceed $75,950
- 7 person household: cannot exceed $81,200
- 8 person household: cannot exceed $86,400
