Village Board Updated on 2015-2019 Strategic Plan Implementation

The Village adopted a Strategic Plan for fiscal years 2015 through 2019 in 2014. The plan is a guide for Village leadership to help direct and budget what should be done in the Village to accomplish the vision and mission to make the Village a “Great Place to Grow”.  There are five strategic areas in the plan including:

• Healthy Economy & Development
• Effective & Accountable Government
• Quality Infrastructure & Asset Management
• Great Neighborhoods & Quality of Life
• Responsive & Quality Public Safety

Within each of these strategic areas there are goals, objectives and actions to achieve our mission and implement our plan.  The full Strategic Plan can be viewed on the Village website, on the Your Government & Municipal Code page.  The Village Board was recently updated on our implementation progress at their July 22 meeting.  The majority of action items have been initiated or partially achieved and several have also already been fully achieved.
