Water Rates Increasing

The Village of Bellevue Water Utility requested a rate increase from the Public Service Commission for the first time since 2012 due to declining water sales, and increasing operational/production costs.  The Village Board approved the recommendation to submit a 3% increase to the water rates to be effective July 20, 2015.  Customers will see the increase on their September bill (for August use).

For a residential customer using 4000 gallons a month this increase equates to $1.00 per month.  The full rate change is listed on the Village website under the utility billing section.
