Another Great K-9 Karnival Event to Support a Bellevue Dog Park
The 2015 K-9 Karnival was a huge success thanks to all the hard work of the Dog Park Committee, sponsors, friends and of course our four legged friends. The Karnival raised almost $4,000 and there were approximately 250 dogs that came for solidarity to build a dog park in Bellevue. Provided are some of our favorite pictures from the event.
The goal of reaching $60,000 for Phase I of the facility has been achieved. Laura Mossakowski, LLC has donated over half of that amount to this project!!
Phase I is planned to include a driveway, parking lot, and approximately 6.5 acre section that will be fenced. Detailed planning is just beginning and no opening date has been determined.
The proposed location of the dog park is just south of State Hwy 172 off Bellevue St. and borders the east side of the East River Parkway Trail.
