Bellevue's Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan (CORP) is the primary tool used to guide the growth and development of the Village's park system. The plan guides the Park Commission and staff when making recommendations to the Village Board on the acquisition, development and management of parks and open space Village-wide. It is also instrumental in developing the Park & Leisure Services Department Capital Improvement Plan budget. Originally drafted in 1991, the CORP has been updated every five years to maintain the Village's eligibility requirements from the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources.
The updated draft CORP for 2015-2020 is available for review on the Village website. The Park Commission adopted the updated CORP on March 9. The Plan Commission will be providing their review on March 17 and then the document will go to the Village Board for final approval and adoption.
