Classes Starting March 12 for Bellevue Citizens Academy

Have you signed up yet for the Village of Bellevue Citizen's Academy?  Thinking about it, but not sure if you can make the commitment. Sign up today or contact us and we'll answer all your questions.  If you can only attend a few classes we are still very happy to accept you as a student.

The goals of the academy are to provide an educational experience for participants at the same time offering an opportunity for residents and business owners to ask questions and to present their ideas. For many participants this opportunity will lead to an increase in community involvement and volunteerism.

Participants will attend one evening per night over a period of six weeks. Sessions will last approximately an hour and a half. Village staff will facilitate the sessions and provide in depth information on administration, local government, law enforcement, fire protection, public works, budget/finance, community development and leisure services.  There are no tests or grades.

Class Dates: Thursday, March 12; Thursday, March 19; Thursday, March 26; Thursday, April 9; Thursday, April 16; Thursday, April 23; and Wednesday, May 13 graduation at the Village Board Meeting

Cost: FREE
