Village Board Meeting for April 10, 2013

The Village Board of Trustees will meet on Wednesday, April 10, 2013 for a regularly scheduled meeting.

The Board will review and possibly make action on the following items:

PUBLIC HEARINGS
A.    (6:32)  Consider the levy of special assessments under municipal police power pursuant to Sec. 66.0703 Wisconsin Statutes. Proposed assessments to be levied against all property fronting along both sides of Juneberry Drive (Eaton Road to Mayflower Road); Blue Spruce Drive (Juneberry Drive to London Road); Mayflower Road (Froelich Lane to Carnation Drive); Allouez Avenue (Manitowoc Road to Main Street) for the purpose of street resurfacing and other street repairs (curbs, manhole adjustments, etc.).

B.    (6:35) Consider the levy of special assessments under municipal police power pursuant to Sec. 66.0703 Wisconsin Statutes. Proposed assessments to be levied against all property fronting along both sides of Tordeur Lane (Lime Kiln Road to approximately 2300 feet south) for the purpose of street reconstruction and drainage improvements (asphalt, culvert and ditches).

C.    (6:37) Consider the levy of special assessments under municipal police power pursuant to Sec. 66.0703 Wisconsin Statutes. Proposed assessments to be levied against all property fronting along both sides of Monroe Road, Lime Kiln Road (from approximately STH 172 to Allouez Avenue) for the purpose of street reconstruction and drainage improvements (curbs, concrete pavement, ditches, manhole adjustments, etc.). 

OLD BUSINESS
A. Discussion/Possible Action:  Ordinance Repealing and Recreating Section 5.33 AND 5.34 Fire Protection and Emergency Services (Ord. No. O-2013-07). 

NEW BUSINESS
A. Discussion/Possible Action: Award bid for Public Works Construction Projects to MCC, Inc. of Appleton in the amount of $761,445.07.

CLOSED SESSION
 A.    Discussion/Possible Action: Closed Session – Costco - Per Wisconsin State Statutes 19.85(1)(e), the Board may move to Closed Session when deliberating or negotiating the purchasing of public properties, the investing of public funds, or conducting other specified public business, whenever competitive or bargaining reasons require a closed session.


The Village of Bellevue is governed by a five-member Board of Trustees consisting of a Village President and four (4) Village Trustees. The Village President is elected every three (3) years.

All positions are elected at large. Two Trustees are elected in the even numbered years with the other two Trustees being elected in the odd numbered years. The Village Board is responsible for overseeing all activities and functions of the Village.

Meetings are typically held on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month at the Public Safety Building / Village Hall (3100 Eaton Road).
