Saving Water Saves Money

Did you know, if you water your lawn on a windy day, you can lose up to 300 gallons of the water due to evaporation in one watering?

Or, if you turn the water off while you brush your teeth and shower, it saves 180 gallons per month, per person?

In these difficult economic times, families and communities are searching for easy ways to reduce costs and save money.  Often, the way in which we use our water resources is overlooked because, given our convenient location near the Great Lakes, we have an incredibly abundant source of fresh water.  However, that doesn’t mean there aren’t ways to save money on your water bill, and coincidentally help improve surface water quality in the Bay of Green Bay, where most of our sanitary sewerage ends up.
